Zernike Australia's Innovation Series (IS) is the preeminent Innovation forum for showcasing innovation, research and leadership best practice to inspire and encourage success stories across Australian and multi-national business sectors and industries.

Established in 2004, the lunchtime events are held regularly in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Zernike, along with the Australian Institute for Commercialisation and corporate sponsors, bring together Australian thought leaders to focus on topical issues that are thought provoking, meaningful and relevant to the current business environment.

Featuring high profile speakers at the forefront of their industry, the Innovation Series events provide a forum for industry and researchers to network and collaborate with fellow participants.

The Innovation Series Events cover:

Topical and current themes in relation to leading technology developments and research
Knowledge sharing between world leading representatives from industry and/or research
High level business networking
Align Speakers and Sponsors through the networking series, and provide a platform for these companies to promote their organisations to like-minded organisations
Three key lunch events are held in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney each year
Format usually includes 2 keynote speakers that represents different perspectives of the theme of the particular event

The attendee mix at each event is closely aligned to the sector's stakeholder representation. The aim is still for a majority private sector senior management approach, but with a strong concentration from research organisations, universities, technology orientated companies, professional service providers and the greater business community.
