Clovely Estate origins began in 1997 with the planting of the Clovely Estate vineyard – 173 hectares of strategically planted vines in the South Burnett, one of Australia’s exciting new wine regions in Queensland. Clovely Estate wines are all produced exclusively from fruit grown and picked on our vineyard.

The vineyard is planted to a number of grape varieties including Chardonnay, Semillon, Verdelho, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Barbera, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Grenache, Mourvedre and Nebbiolo.

The South Burnett region experiences low humidity, good soil structures, cool nights and a constant water supply. These ideal winemaking conditions provide the backbone for the Clovely Estate winemaking philosophy: to produce consistent, clean, fruit driven wines that Australian wines are internationally famous for.
